Our Vice President of Technology
Matt Goodwin came to E-Markets in November of 2006. Prior to E-Markets he was an enterprise architect at Principal Financial where he oversaw the creation of the company’s SOA and web services security strategy.
Prior to Principal, Matt was a senior developer at EquiTrust Financial where he oversaw the development and maintenance of the main enterprise system that gave the company the competitive advantage to grow to $500 million in revenue in the first year.

Prior to working for EquiTrust Matt was a senior developer at the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care where he led a team that developed the first federally approved system for the electronic exchange of confidential medical information, which was later awarded an E-Gov award.
After graduating with a bachelors degree in Political Science from Iowa State University Matt had a brief career in the NFL and CFL before returning to Iowa State to earn his Masters of Public Administration (MPA).
