Security Levels
E-Markets' site has two levels of security; a public area and a level for registered users.
A substantial portion of the E-markets.com site is publicly available. That means you can visit the site and see much of the content without registering for a user ID and password and logging into the "members only" area. While you are visiting the publicly available areas of the site, you are anonymous to us. We don't know your name, your address or other personal details about you.
However, in order to use E-Markets' software applications and some of our services, you must register as a member of our web site and log into the Customer Login area. When you register for a user ID and password, E-Markets creates a unique identification for you. When you log into our web site using that user ID and password, that unique identification provides us with the ability to identify you by name, distinguish you from other users on the web site and most importantly, provide you with the best service possible.

Information Sources
The information we have obtained and asked you to provide about yourself as a registered user is utilized to allow us to provide you with the best possible service. This information originates from the following sources:
- Information we receive from your computer, web browser and operating system
(for example, your IP address, the type of browser and operating system that you are using, how long you visit our site, where you go on the site, and, in some cases, what part of the country you are located in and from which large corporation you may be accessing our site).
- Information we receive from you on new user registrations and that you otherwise supply in response to specific requests or forms contained on our web site
(for example, your contact information, your role in the agribusiness community and any additional information that you may input to customize your E-Markets tools).
- Information about your transactions with us(for example, the number of bushels you may have contracted through DRCSM last month).
- Information about your transactions with others that are conducted using our web site
(for example, seed ordered through SOAR21SM transactions).
- Information we receive from third parties, such as parties with whom you conduct transactions using our web site.

Disclosure of Information
At E-Markets we believe in protecting the privacy of our customers. Therefore, we have developed the following regulations regarding disclosure of customer information:
- We may disclose customer information to third parties with whom you conduct transactions using our web site, such as parties with whom you enter into transactions with utilizing the our applications.
- We may disclose customer information to third parties that are providing services to us, such as parties that assist us in developing and maintaining our web site and parties that assist us in providing services.
- We may also disclose customer information to other third parties with the customer's permission. That permission may be obtained, for example, electronically when specified as such in the User Registration portion of the site.
- We may also disclose customer information to third parties as required by law.
- We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to support the web site and provide services to you. We maintain various physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures. (This opt out does not apply to disclosures that you have given us permission to make, that we make to service providers, or that we are permitted by law to make without taking your opt out into account.) If you wish to opt out of disclosures to nonaffiliated third parties, you may:

Updating Your Customer Profile
Keeping your customer profile current with us allows us to provide you with the best services possible. We would appreciate it if you took the time to let us know if your profile has changed. To update your profile with us, or to discontinue your membership, you may contact us with your request(s) via the methods listed above.

Important Notes
- This privacy policy does not apply to information that you post or provide for us to post in a area of the web site that is available to others (such as information to be posted in the Attribute E-Xchange application You acknowledge that you have no expectation of privacy in such information.
- If you click on a banner advertisement or link to a third party site, that advertiser or third party may be able to collect, use and disclose information about you in ways that are different from our privacy policy. We are not responsible for advertisers' or third parties' privacy policies or actions.
- This privacy policy only represents a statement of our present intention with regard to safeguarding nonpublic personal information. Our privacy policy is subject to change without advance notice and is not intended to create a legally enforceable obligation for which you can seek damages if breached.

Security
The e-markets.com site uses industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our security includes the use of firewalls and the encryption of user and transaction information with secure socket layers.
At E-markets.com, all information from the point of member login - including the user ID and password, data collection, contracts, orders and other transactions - are encrypted. Additionally, we employ a security system within our software applications that stores ownership information and restricts access to contracts, orders and transactions to the owners of those actions. Owners can request that access be given to others.
Finally, your password is a component of the e-markets.com security system. Your password is encrypted and confidential. Not even E-Markets employees can see your password in our computer system. As such, it is your responsibility to protect the secrecy of your password and to refrain from sharing your password with others. However, if you happen to forget your password, contact us at 1-877-674-7419 or customercare@e-markets.com. We will confirm your identity and create a new temporary password for you.
